Niet vaak maar als ze het doet, probeert ze uitvoerig te zijn. De Zweedse Margot Wallström houdt een weblog bij. Wallström is Europees commissaris voor Institutionele Relaties en Communicatie. Vandaag schrijft ze over de Europese Grondwet (waar Nederlanders op 1 juni over worden geraadpleegd in een referendum):
"(...) From a POLICY CONTENT point of view it is minor – because very little has in fact changed when it comes to the different policy areas (some regret that).(...) As always with a long and complex text the debate goes in all directions but I think it is very important to base it on facts and it is important to know that you have access to the full text in your own language. (...)
In order to provide more information and stimulate the debate on the constitution I will publicise a “Questions and answers”- document prepared for the European Commission. (...)"
