is de aankondiging van Apple dat het bedrijf dual boots mogelijk gaat maken voor Mac OS X en ... Windows XP op zijn machines:

Betekent dat dat Windows XP zo goed is dat Apple jaloers is?

En dat het om de echte Windows gaat op de Mac bewijst dbaxter. Binnen 30 minuten na de installatie van XP op zijn Mac schreef hij geschiedenis met een schermafbeelding van wat vermoedelijk het eerste Blue Screen of Death ter wereld was:

Nee dit betekent dat je gewoon een Mac kan kopen zonder je zorgen te maken of je software werkt. De keuze is niet tussen OS X of XP maar tussen een Dell, HP of Mac. En die laatste wordt hiermee wel heel aantrekkelijk. Ik denk dat veel scholen en MKB-ers hun Dell of Compaq contracten op gaan zeggen.

Posted by: Erwin on 06 april 2006 19:51Apple is slim. Twee walletjes eten, why not. Uiteindelijk zal OS X een laagje worden op Apple's (dure en oh zo chique...) standaard pc's. Gewoon slimme marketing, al heb ik niks met Apple. Voordeel: Ubuntu draait.
